Which is why the website is a little out of date. :-) We're trying to set up regular internet access, but it's taking a while. Just wanted to let you all know, though- in addition to what's below, we have our new children's book selection, small but growing, in the shop! 
    
    Here are some more exciting happenings at the Confederate Bookstore!

• We're expanding our selection of books appropriate for English learners. Head over to our Featured Books page to see some ideas! 
• We're also hoping to reach out to students (and teachers!) with our new educational discount. If you study or teach, this is a chance to get up to 20% off purchases at the Confederate Bookstore. 
• We are working on expanding our materials for Spanish learners and speakers. Watch this space for details as we get more Spanish language books into the shop. 
• In a few days, we'll be launching our Bookstories page here on the website, where stories of life in bookstores and in Latin America can be told. We'll tell our own stories of how we got here, and what life in the bookstore is like. But this isn't just our space- if you have an interesting story about your life in Ecuador, we'd be delighted to have you share it on our website, especially if it involves books, reading, teaching, or if it's just funny.
